5 Healthy Home Cooked Desserts Your Family Will Love

Banana Express. 144 calories. Serves 1.

Ingredients

1/2 medium banana 1/2 tbsp of honey dash of cinnamon 1/4 cup of frozen yogurt

Directions
The recipe with 1/2 banana makes an individual serving. I use 1 banana to make dessert for me and my sweetie.
Put 1/2 banana into a bowl and pour honey on top. Sprinkle the cinnamon and cook the banana+honey+cinnamon in the microwave for about 1 minute or until soft (if you are doing 2 servings, you will need about 1 minute and 1/2).
The water from the banana will make a watery syrup with the honey. Add the frozen yogurt on top of the warm banana+syrup and enjoy.
This is delicious comfort food, for just 150 calories. And it takes less than 3 minutes - including prep work, cooking, and serving.
Simple Berry Smoothie. 131 calories per serving. Serves 3.

Ingredients
1 cup berries any type (I like Kirkland's Frozen Mixed Berry Blend) 1 small banana (6") 1 cup Low Fat Vanilla Yogurt (I used Mountain High which is made with fructose, if you use an artificially sweetened product the calories will be lower) 1/2 cup skim milk or enough as needed to make to a drinking consistency

Directions
Place all ingredients in blender and process to desired consistency.
Crustless Pumpkin Pie. 89 calories per servings. Serves 6.

IngredientsIngredients:
Libbys canned pumpkin-15 oz can. 1.75 cup of Splenda Sugar Blend for Baking. .25 cup Pumpkin Pie Spice. 4 tsp Egg Beaters or 1 egg, 2 servings of Carnation Evaporated Fat Free Milk, 6 oz

Directions
Strawberries With Balsamic Vinegar & Black Pepper. 67 calories per serving. Serves 1.

Mix all ingredients and pour into a 8" pie pan. Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Ingredients
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries 1 tsp white balsamic vinegar 1/4 tsp of honey 1/8 tsp of ground black pepper ( not completely fine grind)

Directions
Slice strawberries into bowl. Drizzle balsamic vinegar over. Go slow and try no more than a half teaspoon at first. You want just enough to flavor the strawberries. drizzle a little honey on top and a nice pinch of semi fine ground black pepper. All the measurements in this recipe are approximate. It is very much a recipe that you make entirely to your individual taste. What you are looking for is the sour/acid taste of the balsamic, cut with the sweetness of the honey, without negating the taste of the strawberries. The pepper just adds a little zest at the end.
If you want to make this for company you can actually do it with whole strawberries as well. I've had it at functions as part of a buffet.
I think you will really love the sweet and sour with a slight bite taste that also lets you really enjoy the strawberry flavor. Best of all it is great on any diet except those who have to limit sugars
