DIY Smoothie Packs

For part of my "nesting" during these last few weeks of pregnancy, I have been making freezer meals left and right to prepare for the birth of my son. That includes breakfast! I love smoothies so I thought why not prepare some to go?

It was very simple, actually! All you do is use your favorite fruits and veggies, add some yogurt, milk, or coconut milk, and bag in a zip lock baggy! I love strawberries, bananas, and yogurt. I freeze the yogurt ahead of time in muffin tins so it wont be as messy. You can do this for water, coconut water, and milk too.

When the time comes, just blend away! You might have to add a little water though.

Another idea is that you can actually make the smoothie ahead of time and freeze in muffin tins or ice cube trays. This solution might be a better once since blenders tend to wake babies. With this option, you can allow the frozen smoothie pieces to thaw in the fridge over night and all you have to do is drink away!
