Try It Tuesday: Ezekiel 4:9 Bread

"Take also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils and millet, and spelt and put them in one vessel…" Ezekiel 4:9

Hi ladies!

For this Try It Tuesday, I introduce you to Ezekiel 4:9 bread. Some of you may have heard of it or even tried it before. It is absolutely good for you and absolutely delicious! What makes this bread different than your average loaf is that its made of a combination of 6 sprouted grains (see below).

Ezekiel bread is a source of complete protein, contains 18 amino acids, increased digestibility, Vitamin C, Vitamin B, lots of fiber, and increased absorption of minerals. To make things even nicer, its 100% organic and contains NO GMO's, refined sugars, artificial ingredients, or preservatives. Actually, it is so fresh that it has to be kept in the freezer!

The taste is slightly different than your average bread and so is the texture. But doesn't real food always taste, look, and feel differently than the processed foods we are used to?

This bread can be found in the freezer section of most grocery stores these days but are mainly in whole food stores and markets. The price ranges almost $5 a loaf, but you get what you pay for.

It comes in a variety of flavors. They also make hamburger buns, cereal (love the cereal), pastas, tortillas, you name it!

I urge everyone to give it a try. You can taste the difference!
