The 6 Most Annoying People At The Gym

We all know who they are. They are the ones at the gym who stand out and who love to make themselves known-as if we could not tell already. See below to find which ones are at your local gym!

1. The Gym Hogger

Most gyms have time limits on cardio machines. Some people actually wait for their turns before they can start their workout. It can be pretty annoying when someone uses a machine beyond the time limit even when they see a line forming behind them.

2. The Grunter

That guy in the gym that makes an obnoxious grunting noise—even during his 10 lb warm-up reps— regardless of how much he’s lifting or pressing. He is obviously making this noise so that every cute girl in the gym is well aware of his super-human strength and how much he can lift.

3. The Chatterbox

This person sports a towel over his shoulder to create the illusion he actually produced some sweat that day. Meanwhile, he’ll simply watch you work out while rambling about his night at the bar or the time his buddy in another city did something spectacular. Keep your headphones on and do not, I repeat, do not make eye contact.

4. The Advice Giver

It is quite annoying for someone to walk up to you in the middle of your workout and give you advice on your form. Actually, any kind of unsolicited advice from a stranger is annoying. If you’re not a personal trainer, please don’t critique my workout.

5. The Nudist

Their self-confidence is something to be admired. But let me ask you, where has modesty gone? Being naked is good in certain situations. However, it is quite disconcerting to see naked people prancing around in the locker rooms with no regard to how others might feel.

6. The Slob

We all know this person. They are the ones who are notorious for not putting gym equipment back where it belongs or better yet-sweats all over the treadmill without  courteously wiping it down for the next person. Not only is it unhygienic, but it is also additional work on your part to clean up after their mess. Yeah, you know who you are!

Are you annoyed with people at the gym? Here's how to build your own gym from home!
