A Cute Christmas Tradition

One of my good friends Jo-Anne, the owner of Motivated Tanks N Tees, shared with me a very fun tradition that she used to do with her daughter! I wanted to share it with you guys!

"I was just thinking about a Christmas tradition I started when my daughter was a toddler and I think you would love it.  I take Christmas wrapping paper and cover the whole entire opening to the area where the Christmas tree is doorway area).  So, when she comes down stairs all she sees is the opening to the playroom covered with wrapping paper.  She then gets to break through the paper to then see all the presents under the tree.  She is 13 years old now and still wants it done (yes, she has known for a few years that there is no Santa, just the spirit of Santa).  We obviously do this while she is asleep.  Once she said, why don't some of my friends get this done, and (thank God I'm a quick thinker) I said that only the extra good kids get this.  It is a tradition that I'm sure she will pass on to her children. One tip:Make sure to put tape in a few places across the paper, as well, to keep them together but make sure to leave a little room at the very bottom (by the floor) so air can get through and not force it down. "

Thanks for sharing, Jo-Anne! I cannot wait to do this once my son gets a bit older! :)
